Howdy!
Hey guys! Well, I decided to do a blog to keep all of our friends and family updated on our "Wilde" and crazy life in Omaha. So far Omaha has been pretty good. It rained a few times, there has been a light breeze and there has been a nice overcast. That was not the case the first 48 hours of our move to Omaha.
We arrived late last Thursday night. Brooklyn was such a champ during the drive she was quiet and patient 90% of the 2 day drive. She only got a little fussy right before we made our planned stops. When we arrived she had had it! She just wanted to be held by her mom so I wasn't much help during the move. Luckily, a few of our neighbors came and helped us move during the hot humid night. I was sweating profusely just watching them.(Well I was holding my big baby and helping where and when I could)
Since then, we have been unpacking and touring Omaha. We have been trying to orient ourselves to our new home. We are both about 9 minutes from Aaron's school and my work. There is hardly ever any traffic and we are right down the street from the zoo and botanical gardens.
Aaron has already been working on some homework. He left the house to go to the library today waved and said, "Well, I am off to become a lawyer. See you in 3 years." I laughed because I don't think that he was too far off. He is very diligent in his studies.
Aaron starts school on Monday and I start work next week. More blog posts to come.
